Background-
Bitoshi, led by founder Timilehin Zubair, has awarded seed funding to four tech entrepreneurs who pitched their ideas at Tech Cirvee Fest 3.0. Bitoshi headlined the event, and the funding gives promising projects a path into their next stage of development.
The company said Africa’s technology ecosystem needs more support for the people building products. Across the continent, builders are spotting everyday problems and creating tools that change how people learn, work, access opportunities and manage their lives.
The partnership with Tech Cirvee Fest 3.0 gave these builders a platform to present their ideas, make their case and meet people who can help them grow.
Among those selected are Abdulganiy Eniola Maryam and Tijani Hibatul-Mannan Kanyinsola, founders of SAAIM, and Joseph Oyetunde and Triumph Nwodo, the team behind ApplyLater.
SAAIM is a mobile fasting companion for Muslim users. It brings planning, tracking and scheduling into one app, with Suhoor and Iftar reminders, prayer times, meals, groceries and wellness tools. Fasting takes place throughout the year, so the product serves a steady need within the wider Muslim consumer market.
ApplyLater is building an AI-powered workspace for scholarships, grants, fellowships and jobs. It helps users organize opportunities, extract key details, track progress, receive reminders and get help as they complete applications. The aim is to help people act on opportunities, not just find them.
Bitoshi said early capital can decide whether an idea stays a prototype or grows into a minimum viable product that tests the market. Visibility and networks matter as well. The company said its support gives founders room to build, test, learn and improve, and reflects its commitment to the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
