Accenture has acquired Keepler Data Tech, a Spanish cloud-native AI and data company, to strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities across Europe and beyond.

Founded in 2018, Keepler covers the full data value chain, from building cloud-native data foundations to deploying advanced analytics and agentic AI. The company operates across Madrid, London and Lisbon, and brings a team of technical architects, data scientists, analysts and software engineers to Accenture. More than 240 Keepler professionals will join the company as part of the deal.

Mercedes Oblanca, Market Unit Lead for Spain and Portugal at Accenture, said technology is evolving at an extraordinary speed, and AI and data now sit at the heart of how companies stay competitive. She added that the acquisition strengthens Accenture’s end-to-end AI offerings and supports clients in transforming their businesses responsibly.

Juan Maria Aramburu, CEO of Keepler, said joining Accenture accelerates the firm’s mission of helping organisations turn data and AI into real, scalable outcomes. He noted the partnership would drive further innovation for clients across Spain and the EMEA region.

This buyout is part of a larger strategic thrust by Accenture to acquire specific AI capabilities. Recent acquisitions in this space include Faculty, Decho, RANGR Data, NeuraFlash and Halfspace.
