Background-

Anant Raj Cloud Singapore and Orange Business Services Singapore have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana government to market the state’s cloud and data centre services worldwide.

The Department of Industries and Commerce signed the pact on behalf of the state. The deal also aims to bring overseas data to Haryana for hosting.

Under the agreement, Anant Raj Cloud Singapore will present Haryana as a global hub for data centres, cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. The company will also market Ashok Cloud, its own cloud platform, abroad and help overseas customers get started on it.

The MoU builds on Anant Raj’s earlier pledge of Rs 250 billion for data centre infrastructure in Haryana, announced in June 2026. The company plans to build about 307 megawatts of IT load across its Manesar, Panchkula and Rai campuses. It will make further investments in phases.

Orange Business will look at working as a technology partner for data centre and cloud services. Its focus will include AI workloads and high-performance computing. The firm will also back Anant Raj Cloud Singapore’s efforts to enter international markets.

Haryana has rolled out a dedicated Data Centre Policy 2026 that offers a range of incentives for companies building data centre infrastructure.

The agreement gives the state a stronger push to attract global clients as demand for cloud and AI computing grows. Both companies will work with state officials to turn the plan into projects on the ground.
