Hyndburn Council has unveiled a fresh lineup of free events built to give local businesses hands-on guidance, expert perspectives and chances to network. Spanning September, October and November, the sessions center on three focus areas, technology and innovation, commercial planning and funding, and remain free to attend for businesses of every size.
The lineup kicks off with Tech Lancashire: Powering Lancashire’s Business Future at Accrington Stanley’s Wham Stadium on September 30, drawing business leaders, innovators and tech professionals together to talk collaboration and innovation.
A panel of guest speakers, including founders from Northern Reach, WhY-Us? Marketing and Smart Garment People, will join the conversation, with representatives from IN4.0, Growth Agency, Made Smarter and AMRC also on hand.
Next comes an online Commercial Planning Workshop via Microsoft Teams on October 20, guiding businesses through planning permission rules, permitted development rights and typical obstacles, with firsthand insight from Nadya Parveen, director of Next Step Adult Day Care Centre.
The series wraps with Funding Unlocked at Wham Stadium on November 4, linking businesses with funders and support groups to break down grants, loans and investment paths.
Council leader Cllr Munsif Dad said Hyndburn’s businesses fuel local jobs and investment, urging owners to claim their free spot before slots fill up.
