How did your early roles in recruitment shape your leadership style and drive your success in transforming organizations?

As CEO of Dananda Global Talent, I currently oversees strategic operations across international markets. My focus lies in delivering global talent solutions while nurturing high-performing leadership teams and scalable infrastructure. HR is no longer a support function, but a business accelerator. “Our role is to shape future-ready workforces, mitigate risk, and architect workplace ecosystems that attract, develop, and retain the best talent globally.

Through operational excellence and innovative service models, Dananda Global Talent is redefining how African HR capabilities compete on the international stage.

You led a major turnaround at Rosstone Consulting. How are you now scaling that transformation approach at Dananda Global Talent?

I am no stranger to transformation. At Rosstone Consulting, I spearheaded a dramatic turnaround—rescuing the business from near insolvency and restoring profitability in just 12 months. By rebuilding leadership trust, enforcing compliance, and embedding a performance-driven culture, I revitalized both morale and margin.

We didn’t just fix operations; we redefined our identity. We shifted from survival mode to a purpose-led culture.”

Now at Dananda Global Talent, I am replicating this transformation at scale. My people strategy focuses on agility, innovation, and cultural intelligence—key in managing cross-border teams and ensuring inclusive environments.

How has your work in scaling EOR services across Africa helped bridge the gap between local talent and global opportunities?

One of my most impactful initiatives has been scaling Employer of Record (EOR) services in Africa—particularly in markets underserved by traditional HR infrastructure. As Operational Executive at Rosstone and General Manager at Network Contracting Solutions, I led the global expansion of EOR solutions, giving African professionals access to global opportunities while ensuring full regulatory compliance for multinational clients.

“EOR is not just a compliance solution; it’s a bridge to equitable talent mobility. We’re helping African professionals compete—and win—on the world stage.

Additionally, I introduced technology-driven service models, established operational frameworks for remote workforce deployment, and prioritized data-driven decision-making across talent management systems.

How do you ensure workforce readiness in an era defined by AI, digital change, and the gig economy?

Workforce readiness is a recurring theme in my leadership. I actively invest in upskilling programs, mentorship networks, and cross-functional training to prepare teams for AI integration, digital transformation, and the gig economy.

My approach is human-centric but future-focused. We’re not just filling roles—we’re building leaders.

What core principles guided your crisis leadership during the COVID-19 era and beyond?

Having steered multiple organizations through volatile economic cycles, industry shifts, and post-pandemic recovery, I have a refined approach to crisis leadership. “Transparency, consistency, and compassion are non-negotiable in times of uncertainty.”

During the COVID-19 era, I led distributed workforce models, implemented well-being initiatives, and introduced agile workforce planning, ensuring business continuity without compromising employee experience.

How has your servant-leadership style shaped team culture and driven innovation throughout your career?

I believe in being humble and associate myself with the servant-leader style. I practice inclusive leadership—often crediting team success over personal wins. My leadership principles are rooted in authenticity, trust-building, and accountability.

“I lead with the belief that everyone is a leader in their own right. My job is to unlock that potential, regardless of title”. This ethos has earned me accolades like the CEO Courageous Leadership Award (2021) and Manager of the Year at Cozens Recruitment.

I also foster diversity of thought by building inclusive teams and encouraging dissenting voices. Innovation doesn’t come from consensus—it comes from healthy challenges.

What key trends do you see driving Africa’s HR transformation, and how should leaders respond?

As an HR thought leader, I believe Africa is undergoing a quiet HR revolution. We’re seeing a paradigm shift—from transactional HR to transformational HR. We see the rise of remote work, the demand for digital skills, and increased cross-border collaboration as key trends reshaping the field.

I also advocate for ethical AI use, gender parity, and localizing global HR strategies to better fit Africa’s unique economic and cultural context.

What does being named among Africa’s Most Influential HR Leaders in 2025 mean to you personally and professionally?

Being recognized among the Most Influential Leaders Driving Human Resource Excellence in Africa, 2025, holds profound meaning for me. “It’s more than a personal achievement—it’s recognition of the potential of African HR leadership. I stand on the shoulders of many who came before me, and I hope to be a platform for those rising behind me.”

What key advice would you give to the next generation of HR professionals in Africa?

To emerging HR professionals, my advice to you:

“Don’t chase titles—chase impact. Build your credibility through consistency and curiosity. Know the law, learn the tech, understand the business—but never forget the people. Africa needs HR leaders who are brave, strategic, and deeply human.”

With an illustrious career marked by resilience, growth, and unwavering people-centric values, I stand not only as a transformative leader but as a beacon for what HR excellence in Africa can and should look like in the future.
