Capgemini announced an agreement to acquire Cloud4C, a company offering unity-based managed cloud services on hybrid clouds as well as sovereign clouds world over.. With this acquisition, which is subject to minimal regulatory approvals and is expected to close later this year, Capgemini will increase its share in the fast-growing cloud managed services market.
Cloud4C was established in 2014, and it has developed good experience in cloud transformation and AI-based automation. The company has a total of 1,600 professionals and works in 29 countries. It provides an extensive amount of services such as cloud migration, disaster recovery, compliance, and cybersecurity. Cloud4C boasts an extensive network of world-leading hyperscalers and is a preferred partner for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
With this acquisition, Capgemini will enhance its capacity in the hybrid and sovereign cloud, as well as expand AI-powered platforms to its worldwide clients. The agreement will also boost Capgemini’s position as a global leader in end-to-end SAP capabilities and industry-specific cloud solutions.
