Background
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Green Data Centers Private Ltd, has incorporated Aurovault Data Centers Private Limited as a new wholly owned subsidiary.
Aurovault Data Centers will operate in the data centre business, with Waaree Green Data Centers holding the entire share capital of the new entity. The newly incorporated company has yet to begin business operations.
Aurovault’s stated objects cover establishing, developing, designing, financing, constructing, owning, leasing, operating, maintaining, managing and commercializing data centres, hyperscale data centres, AI-ready data centres, edge data centres and disaster recovery centres. Its scope also extends to cloud infrastructure facilities, digital infrastructure parks and colocation facilities across India and international markets.
The company plans to offer a wide range of services, including colocation, managed hosting and cloud connectivity. Additional offerings span internet exchange, network services, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
On top of that, Aurovault will handle data storage, cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, graphics processing unit hosting and high-performance computing, gearing it up to meet enterprises’ rising digital infrastructure needs.
Waaree Green Data Centers will complete its subscription to Aurovault’s memorandum of association with cash consideration, tying down full ownership of the new subsidiary.
Through this step, the Waaree group moves past renewable energy into digital infrastructure, matched to rising demand for AI-ready computing capacity in India and overseas. As data consumption climbs, the new entity sets up the group to grab opportunities in the expanding data centre ecosystem.
